About Our Guest

After graduating from Princeton and Princeton Theological Seminary, Bill McMorran spent 10 years in Washington D.C. developing AARP’s national tax and health programs. This included working closely with the IRS and Congress in tax legislation, taxpayer education and volunteer outreach. 

He formed Green Oak Consulting in 1986, to develop planned giving services for small and mid-sized charities with an emphasis on retirement communities. Since then, Green Oak has grown steadily, offering consulting, administrative and investment services to an array of charities across the country.

Bill is a regular speaker at the many national conferences as well as state and local events, focused on planned giving. He is also a faculty member of the Senior Living Institute. He lives in Hollywood, California, with his wife and dogs.
